iLuna is an interactive astrological calendar.

Here is a video demonstrating the features of the app: https://bit.ly/iluna-video

iLuna allows to easily find out the lunar phase, the Moons position in the signs of the zodiac and mansions, the periods of void-of-course Moon and the periods of retrograde Mercury for any day from the year 2005 to the year 2050. It also provides a description for each phase, sign and mansion. You can navigate through the information in various ways — say, phase-by-phase, day-by-day or month-by-month - whatever is more convenient for you.

Phases show you the energy of the day, signs — the mood of the day, while the void-of-course periods might tell you when it is better not to do certain things. Mansions were used by different cultures from the time immemorial, they tell for what a particular day is good or not so good. And the periods of retrograde Mercury are able to gift you an unusual idea but at the same time create mayhem in your business activities.

Those New and Full Moons that are eclipses, are now marked as such.

To calculate the times, iLuna uses the time zone of the device on which it runs, so if your iPhone or iPad shows your current time correctly, iLunas information is precise too.

Once any of the events reported by iLuna happens, you will get a notification, provided you allowed the app to send you notifications.

You can choose which elements of information you prefer to see, but you should have at least three of them turned on.

Pros and cons of iLuna app for iPhone and iPad

iLuna app good for

Im delighted! Its intuitive, precise, and clear, bright, easy graphics tell you immediately whats what! I use it more than I thought I would and there is no more figuring out local time vs. lunar time as it adjusted to my iPhones local time immediately. Good idea! A practical, useful app for anyone who follows lunar cycles and depends on accurate void-of-course information. As I do!!!
Describes all aspects that the moon has to our lives. I just looked for a gardening tool and was positively surprised to have beauty, socializing, mood, etc. In one. Perfect! For all the lunatics out there!
A simple but effective and precise app that does what its supposed to do. Despite the very basic interface I find it more useful than similar apps with a more polished look. Recommended if you serious about the lunar calendar.
Visually pleasing - easy to use and most of all great information. Well worth the investment!
Im using this on iPad so it is the iPhone version expanded so that is why I didnt give 5 stars. Great app, does just what I needed. Needs to add keywords moon and void so it is easier to find in app store
An excellent app!! Im new to iPhone and Im a technophobe, too!! This is SO USER FRIENDLY! Thank u for making it easy to know what the moon is up to:)

Some bad moments

iLuna was awesome until it stopped responding! I tried downloading the version again and checked for updates ( none available) and it still does not respond! iLuna please fix this! Thanks :)
Works mostly, but there is no info listed for the new moon. Sometimes info texts are half missing. Especially when the moon is in Pieces. The waxing and waning moon info is backwards. Reads wax when waning, vice versa. It is a cool app, but I wish I could have had a free version with ads since there are so many bugs.
Moon Phase descriptions still are not correct after recent update. New Moon screen is blank. This used to be fantastic reference app, but has been buggy ever since they added the (useless) Arabic signs.
The main reason why I got this app was to see the actual lunar days and their description. This calendar is different then the one on their website and is not showing lunar days
I appreciate the usefulness of this app but western astrology should be for the west. That is all.
Phases of the moon descriptions dont correspond. New moon description missing
